DC37 and The City Agrees to Two Year Contract

Hello MEA members. Today is November 3, 2008 and this is your President Steve Ferrer with the latest news for you. On Saturday November 1st, the Daily News reported that DC37 and the City agreed to a two year contract with more than 8% in salary increases. This agreement should be announced today The City usually waits for the DC 37 contract to be settled before they grant managerial raises. Therefore, we have been in contact with Labor Relations as to when the managerial raises will be announced. We expect the same percentage raises. As soon as we hear, we will let our membership know. Donít forget to vote tomorrow. It is our greatest duty in a democracy. Goodbye for now.
