MEA Advocates for Members’ Raises

An article published in the New York Post on Saturday November 8, 2008 quoted a mayoral spokesperson, when questioned about when managers would receive pay raises, that “no decision has been made due to the budget climate.” The New York City Managerial Employees Association continues to advocate for our members well earned raises. Mayor Bloomberg has a proven record of providing across the board raises to all competent managers commensurate with other groups of municipal employees. We know the Mayor understands how essential the managerial work force is to New York City, particularly during difficult times. We advocate for the prompt resolution of this matter that is critical to maintaining a motivated corps of career managers.
