DEP QWL Employee Recognition 2025

Congratulations to our members at the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) celebrating big work anniversaries this year! On September 17, DEP hosted a recognition ceremony to honor those employees who reached milestone years in their City employment. Our Executive Director, Alice Wong, was honored to be in attendance to cheer on our long-tenured members and other City employees being recognized. Check out some pictures of the day below!

We are so proud to be the advocacy organization for these hard-working DEP members! Their dedication and service help: keep our city healthy and hydrated with some of the best water in the country; protect us against the increasing threats of dangerous storms due to climate change; and promote easier breathing and healthier lungs by managing and monitoring air pollutants in the area!  The MEA thanks them for everything they do to serve New Yorkers.
