To the Managerial Employees Association,
Recently I received an email from my EEO office, inviting me to discuss an alleged incident. I was advised that I could bring representation to the meeting.
Having never been the type of employee who has had to be reprimanded, I was taken aback when I was told I could bring representation.
My initial thought was to decline representation and just have the meeting as soon as possible to get it over with. I was encouraged to contact the MEA for counsel, and I’m thrilled I did.
The support of the MEA Counsel put me at ease and was very appreciated.
