MEA celebrates Law Enforcement Appreciation Day by recognizing the dedication and service of our members in the New York City Police Department (NYPD), Department of Correction (DOC), Department of Probation (DOP), Department of Environmental Protection Police Division (DEP), and NYC Health + Hospitals Hospital Police Officers (NYC H+H). Each day, these professionals demonstrate extraordinary commitment to maintaining safety and justice across the city.
From the streets of our neighborhoods to our correctional facilities, and through our probation services, these dedicated individuals form an interconnected network of public safety professionals. Their coordinated efforts ensure not just the immediate safety of New Yorkers, but also work toward long-term community stability and rehabilitation.
We are proud to represent these deserving individuals in our NYPD, DOC, DOP, DEP, and NYC H+H Chapters.
