Congratulations! By executive nomination and vote, Lisa R. Maluf has been appointed as the Acting Chapter Director for OTI, and as a representative on the MEA Executive Board.
Lisa R. Maluf, will be representing the NYC Office of Technology & Innovation (OTI), the City’s newly-formed technology office. The Adams Administration established OTI earlier this year under the Mayor’s Executive Order 3, which consolidated the City’s existing technology entities (i.e., NYC Cyber Command, DoITT, and the Mayor’s Offices of Algorithms Management, the CTO, Data Analytics, and Information Privacy) under the leadership of a Citywide Chief Technology Officer.
Lisa brings over 20 years of executive and senior management experience in New York City government. She currently serves as Assistant Commissioner in OTI’s External Affairs & Communications division, and has held various leadership roles at DoITT in Public Safety Program Management, Business Relationship Management, and Customer Communications. Prior to joining DoITT, Lisa established a centralized communications and outreach function at the NYC Department of Finance, where she served as Chief of Staff under three Commissioners, before joining DoITT in 2010.
Lisa is a self-proclaimed government geek and lifelong Brooklyn native, where she lives with her husband Juan.
