NYC announces changes to its Commuter Benefits Program

Effective January 1, 2020, the pre-tax limits for Transit and Parking each increased from $265 to $270. For employees whose monthly transit or parking pre-tax deductions were greater than $265, the update to $270 was made automatically.

Employees of the City of New York can use pre-tax and post-tax payroll deductions for certain public transportation costs through the Commuter Benefits Program. The current program is offered by Edenred Commuter Benefit Solutions, the City’s commuter benefits provider.
