On March 6, 2023, MCNA Dental Plan, who worked with Healthplex to provide dental benefits, became aware of certain activity on their computer system that happened without their permission. They learned a criminal was able to see and take copies of some information in their computer system between February 26, 2023 and March 7, 2023.
MCNA Dental Plan will be sending out a letter to all impacted members of the data breach. The letter states the type of personal information that may have been exposed.
MEA members should follow the instructions in the letter to safeguard all personal information.
