Dear Colleagues: please place this upcoming meeting upon your “must attend” list. Aside from a lovely breakfast meal to the first 60 to RSVP. We have crucial issues to discuss, updates upon and have to make leadership decisions that can not be delayed. Please take the opportunity and join old friends and meet new ones at this very special convocation of New York City’s finest managers.
This meeting will be held at Junior’s, located at 386 Flatbush Ave Ext, Brooklyn, NY 11201.
Directions: B, Q, or R subway train to DeKalb Avenue station.
The Breakfast Deluxe in its entirety is complimentary to the first 60 active MEA Retirees Chapter members. However, there will be a modest $25 cost per person for non member/guest. Also, if any active member, non member/guest orders an additional item that is not on the fixed menu, they will be charged accordingly.

Choice of Drink: Coffee or Tea
Choice of Juice: Orange, Apple, Grapefruit, Tomato, or Cranberry
Choice of Meat: Bacon, Sausage, or Ham

Are you interested in running for the Chapter Leadership roles? There are 3 positions available: Chapter Director, Assistant Chapter Director, and Recording Secretary. If you are interested, contact the MEA office at info [@] nycmea.org for more information.
- Chapter Director: preside over regular and special meetings, shall appoint committees, and serve as the MEA Executive Board representative.
- Assistant Chapter Director: serve in absence of Chapter Director.
- Recording Secretary: provide written communication and minutes from chapter meetings.
Responsibilities
- Attend monthly MEA Executive Board meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
- Meetings are held via Zoom at 6pm (1 – 1.5 hours).
- Share info from the MEA Executive Board meeting to your chapter.
- Update the MEA Executive Board with chapter concerns, promotions/announcements, etc.
- Host chapter meetings (at least 1 per year).
- Recruit new members.
