Congratulations to MEA member Deborah Gray on her promotion to Program Administrator.
Deborah has been with the Department of Homeless Services for 22 years. She is responsible for the administration of directly operated and/or contracted facilities and will ensure the prevision of services in a safe and well-maintained environment. Deborah also responds to Critical incidents that affects the health and safety of both staff and clients as well as Conduct routine site visits.
We asked Deborah what was the best part of her job: the best part of the job is working collaboratively with shelter providers for a successful outcome, such as ensuring clients transition into permanent housing as well as providing services for our clients who suffer from Substance abuse and Mental health.
