My name is David Garfinkel and I am the Acting Chapter Director for the Mayoral Chapter of the MEA. My current position is Associate General Counsel at the Mayor’s Office of Contract Services (MOCS), which I’ve worked at since December 2018. I’ve worked for the City of New York since 2014, previously as Assistant General Counsel at the Department of Transportation and Procurement Attorney at the Department of Buildings. I am originally from California, but have lived in New York since coming here for law school. I enjoy participating in various Meetup groups and events in the City, especially to experience the diversity of food available here. I look forward to working with everyone and the MEA.
