New Yorkers, it’s time to get involved and fulfill your civic duty by voting! On June 28th, New York State will have its first of two primaries this summer, with races split after a tumultuous bout of redistricting.

The early voting period is from June 18th to June 26th, and you can find a list of early voting locations here. On the 28th, polling locations are open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM; find your polling location here.

The Democratic primary for Governor, with candidates incumbent Kathy Hochul, U.S. Representative Tom Suozzi of Long Island, and New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams

The Republican primary for Governor, with candidates Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, former aide to President Trump Andrew Giuliani, U.S. Representative Lee Zeldin from Long Island, and businessman Harry Wilson.

The Democratic primary for Lieutenant Governor (Governor and Lieutenant Governor are separate primary races, and then become a ticket in the general election), with candidates U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (Hochul’s running mate), former Brooklyn deputy borough president Diana Reyna (Suozzi’s running mate), and Queens-based activist and non-profit leader Ana Maria Archila. (Williams’ running mate).

New York has closed primaries; you may only vote in the primary for the party with which you are registered.
