Once again, MEA participated in the Rally at City Hall regarding the city’s health plan, held on May 31.
The MEA team – including President Darrell Sims, Recording Secretary Stephen Fisher, and Executive Director Alice Wong – joined with other MEA members and protesters. The MEA still strongly opposes the city’s push towards Medicare Advantage plans and will continue to show support for the protection of retiree health care benefits.
